One of the games to generate the most positive buzz from this past E3 is the open-world Hong Kong crime saga
Sleeping Dogs, currently in development by United Front Games (you can read Travis's own E3 impressions of
Sleeping Dogs right here).
It's not just gaming buffs that are interested in the title, either. Movie buffs have caught wind of it and now
Sleeping Dogs is being showcased at the New York Asian Film Festival that runs from June 29 until July 15.
UFG will host a panel with actors Edison Chen (The Dark Knight) and Will Yun Lee (Hawaii Five-O, Red Dawn) before the tenth anniversary showing of
Infernal Affairs 1 &
2. Chen and Lee both starred in the
Infernal Affairs films and have roles in
Sleeping Dogs.
The screening happens on Friday July 6th (hey, that's today). Events are kicked off at 5pm with the reception, then an hour later at 6pm you'll see the panel featuring UFG, Edison Chen, and Will Yun Lee, and finally at 6:30pm the showing of
Infernal Affairs begins.
This all takes place at the Walter Reade Theater (70 Lincoln Center Plaza, New York, NY 10023. Visit
