It's not hard to see how popular Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is today in the fighting game community. Before, that, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 enjoyed quite a bit of success as well. However, before we had X-Factors and huge rosters of characters, we had Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.
Both games enjoyed some popularity in the arcades as well as on home consoles. However, finding the console versions today can be tricky at best, coming from experience trying to find Marvel vs. Capcom on the Dreamcast for a decent price. However, fans who missed out on these 90s arcade classics can now enjoy them on the PS3 and Xbox 360 this September when both games will be a part of Marvel vs. Capcom Origins. Coming September 2012 for $14.99 / 1200 MS Points, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins will feature online play, in-game challenges, replays, and spectator mode. Trust me when I say I'll be downloading this when it gets released.
