We're all too familiar with how Nintendo does their hardware. They release something and then after sometime, slim it down or make it bigger. This time, they are going bigger.
Nintendo has announced the
3DS XL, which as the name implies, is a bigger 3DS. The screens are bigger with a 4.88 3D screen on top and a 4.18 LCD screen on the bottom.
The control layout is the same, but I was hoping they'd include that secondary analog stick since the system is bigger. I guess we'll have to wait for another add-on for the XL if you want the secondary controller.
$200 will be the asking price and it will be available on August 19th here in the United States. Those in Japan will get it a little bit earlier on July 28th.
