My visit to the D3Publisher booth at E3 revealed an assortment of movie and cartoon series game tie-ins that included Ben 10: OmniverseMadagascar 3: The Video GameMadagascar: Join the Circus!, and Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game. Some of the games are currently for sale, while a few will be available this fall and holiday seasons. Check below for details on each of the games showcased by D3Publisher.

Ben 10: Omniverse is a game tie-in for the upcoming refresh of the popular Ben 10 cartoon series. The game will have players controlling both a teenage and younger 11-year old version of Ben with the ability to temporarily transform into one of 13 aliens. A second player can join the game as Ben's alien sidekick named Rook, with support for drop-in-and-drop-out local cooperative multiplayer. Gameplay will be focused on an action-brawler adventure with light puzzle-solving and platforming elements. Players will have the ability to select which aliens to use before each level, which also can be individually upgraded with more powerful abilities. The game will include 11 levels that feature some locations from the television show. Boss battles will challenge players with various melee combat and quick-time events. The game's events runs parallel with the show and also shares the same tune-shaded visual style.

Ben 10: Omniverse will be available this fall for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, 3DS and DS, with the Wii U version releasing later in the holiday season.

Madagascar 3: The Video Game is a tie-in for the recently released animated film Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted from DreamWorks Animation. Players will travel to Europe with Alex the Lion, Gloria the Hippo, Marty the Zebra, and Melman the Giraffe to promote their circus by performing various city missions and minigames. With support for drop-in-and-drop-out cooperative split screen multiplayer, players can select from the four characters while traversing hub cities like London and Paris. The game's hub cities serve as areas to collect items for the circus and utilize each of the character's unique abilities in solving puzzles and completing platform sections. In between cities, players can take part in minigames that also support two players. The adventure across Europe to create the ultimate circus will last around 8 to 12 hours.

Madagascar 3: The Video Game is available now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, 3DS, and DS.

Madagascar: Join the Circus! is another tie-in for Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted that tasks players with building and managing their own circus. The game can be downloaded for free and supports microtransactions for players that prefer to skip past the normal gameplay progression. Similar to other social, free-to-play titles like FarmVille, players have to collect normal and premium currencies to perform additional gameplay actions. The normal currency of tickets is earned through circus attractions and other activities, with the bananas being more rare in the game and also available for purchase through the in-game store. Various attractions support minigames that can be performed once built in the circus. Updates are planned that include additional attractions, cities, and minigames.

Madagascar: Join the Circus! is available now for iOS devices including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game is a tie-in for the upcoming animated film Rise of the Guardians from DreamWorks Animation, which has Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, The Sandman, Tooth Fairy, and Jack Frost joining forces to battle against the Bogeyman and his legions of nightmare. In the game, players select from the characters of North, Bunnymund, Tooth, and Sandman to battle the evil Pitch. The game will support local drop-in-and-drop-out cooperative multiplayer for four players. The isometric top-down brawler has players smashing through a variety of enemies and collecting guardian gems that upgrade character abilities. The adventure will take players around 12 hours to complete and is aimed at being interesting to older kids that are seeking a more challenging and thrilling experience.

Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game will be available on November 20 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, 3DS and DS, with the Wii U version releasing later in the holiday season.
