Namco has confirmed that Nintendo wasn’t just trolling in their press conferece; Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is in fact headed to the Wii U in addition to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Wii U version of the game will contain pretty much everything the other releases have, including full online multiplayer support. Nintendo is even getting a few yet-to-be announced bonuses for their version of the game; these will most likely take advantage of the unique control options offered by the Wii U Gamepad.
In honor of E3 2012, Namco has also released a new trailer for the game which you can check out below. And no, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. The one and only Snoop Dogg is featured in the game with his own stage and song:
