E3 2012: Cross-platform control announced for LittleBigPlanet 2

Jack Tretton has just announced that a new patch is coming to LittleBigPlanet 2 later this year. the new update will allow players to interact with the game using the PlayStation Vita and all of its capabilities. The patch will also introduce unparalleled cross platform support and connectivity for both the PS3 and Vita versions of the game.
