Ubisoft has revealed a new installment in the Splinter Cell series at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. The new game, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, puts Sam Fisher back in action as an operative for the US government.
In the near future, a coalition of terrorist organizations have banned together and given the Us an ultimatum: get out of our countries or face the penalties of relentless attacks. The game will also take full advantage of the Kinect peripheral by allowing the player to interact with enemies such as calling names or luring guards with audio signals. Kinect is also used to give commands to Third Echelon directly, since Sam is now in charge of it all.
The game has a much more cinematic approach to its presentation than the previous entries, which makes a much better looking game in the end. The game is expected to launch in Spring 2013.
