The 4X sub-genre of strategy games have always been a personal favorite for allowing gamers to explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate to their will. Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Novacore Studios have released an assortment of new details concerning their upcoming 4X strategy game set in space, Legends of Pegasus. In the game, players will be able to explore and colonize planets, battle enemy forces, design starships, and command fleets of spacecraft. The narrative will allow players to control each of the game's three races, including the Humans, X’or, and Arthrox. In addition to the extensive single-player narrative, gamers can rule the galaxy in skirmish or multiplayer modes. Multiplayer supports gameplay over LAN and online connections.

Legends of Pegasus offers a massive single player campaign, during which the player will discover three very different races. Multiplayer features Internet or LAN gameplay, against Human or AI opponents. If you like designing your own game yourself, numerous modding options will certainly make you all the happier.
