Here's some new footage of Namco Bandai's upcoming Star Trek game, appropriately titled...Star Trek. Yes, I know, I'm already biased against this game because I was rather disappointed with J.J. Abrams' 2009 reboot. And while I'm sure the team at Namco Bandai are fully committed to making a good game, it doesn't necessarily look like a good Star Trek game. At least not the kind of Star Trek I'm used to. But Abrams' generic, Michael Bay fast-food-scifi Star Trek? Yeah, a co-op cover based shooter seems like a perfect fit for the kind of so-called Star Trek he's making.
