Vita owners take notice: a system update is inbound as early as this week! Sony
has announced that the v1.65 system update will be launching very soon and it will bring a variety of tweaks and fixes to the handheld.
Some of the specific changes being noted in this release are:
-
“Notification Alert” option will be added to Settings, so you can toggle alerts on or off
-
“After 10 minutes” will be added to the time options under Power Save Settings
-
arrow icon will now appear when PS Vita finds new activities in the LiveArea
-
Caps Lock will be supported in the On Screen Keyboard
It is about time that they are adding a Caps Lock feature; constantly hitting the shift button for passwords and entries with multiple capital letters has become a real pain. Once the update goes live, you will be able to apply it either over the air on your Vita or by downloading it from Sony’s website and applying it via the Content Manager software.
