Sega of Japan has officially announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 is heading to more than just the PC; it is also headed for the PlayStation Vita. Laugh if you must, but many of us are still waiting for a true and quality sequel to what is one of the greatest Dreamcast and Gamecube games ever created. This could be the one we have been waiting for...
Although the game has only been announced for Japan at this point, I can’t help but salivate at the potential held by this announcement. As you can see in the early screenshots shown below the game is already looking fantastic and will only get better as we approach its official release. To sweeten the deal even more, Sega has confirmed that the Vita and PC versions of the game will share servers, allowing players to use their same characters on both versions. I really hope that the final game is better than the abysmal Phantasy Star Universe that we were treated to just a few years back.
