RBN going heavy on the metal this week

It looks like Harmonix has gotten a whole slug of new Rock Band Network songs prepared, as next week we will see no fewer than 26 new tracks from various genres hit the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 RBN stores. The big winners will be the 360 owners who love metal, as there are 16 new tracks priced from 80 MS Pts – 160 MS Pts that were available as of yesterday. In addition, five more tracks from three other genres (80-160 MS Pts each) are also available. PS3 owners won’t be getting the same volume next Tuesday when there new RBC release are available, but they are getting three country tracks a metal and a rock track ($0.99-$1.99 each).

Unlike last week, I have heard of a couple of these bands, although they are not on my personal playlist. However, if you love to experiment with different types of music on Rock Band, you may be able to find one of these RBN tracks to your liking.
