Just yesterday I was thinking about the games of Wil Wright and how I sort of miss having him around. And guess what gets announced today? Why it's a new SimCity, a game in the franchise that Mr. Wright started and a series I've lost many hours to.
The game's official annoucement was at GDC, but EA's gone and launched a trailer here for you to see. The one I've embedded is actually an Insider's look at the game and it will have a multiplayer aspect to it as well. It is being developed by Maxis and it's slated to be a 2013 release.
