The trend of release day downloadable content continues with the announcement of Nemesis Mode for
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. The Xbox 360 exclusive downloadable content will be priced at 320 Microsoft Points and include an additional competitive multiplayer mode. In Nemesis Mode, eight gamers compete as either the USS or Spec Ops to gain the best score. However, matters are complicated with the introduction of a 'Nemesis' unit that can fight for a particular side with the capture of its control unit. I understand that most gamers are already angry with the notion of release day downloadable content, but now console exclusivity might add even further concern to that ongoing frustration.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be available on March 20 in North America and March 23 in Europe for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Windows PC version drops awhile later on May 18.
