Ubisoft has released the first episode of the three-part series 'Believe in Ghosts' for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. In the first episode, The Deadly Edge, Former Navy SEAL Sniper/Scout "Mack" Machowicz discusses a real spec-ops team mission and the various advantages that gamers will have stacked against the enemies with ghost technology. In particular, gamers can now use optical camouflage that can cloak characters in broad daylight. Another impressive technology will be the use of augmented reality to mark enemies for quick and unforgiving death. As "Mack" puts so poetically, "War is hell." The next episode in the series will take a look at high-value targets and the game's weapon customization system.
I've been a fan of the Ghost Recon series since its iteration, and the latest game has me frolicking about with joy. From my favorite game perspective of third-person to the future ghost technology, this has moved near the top of my wish list for 2012. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be deploying on May 22 in North America and May 24 in Europe for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC.
