Mark you calendars young Jedi, Star Wars Kinect is almost here. Microsoft’s own Major Nelson has revealed that the game will finally be released on April 3, 2012. In addition to the retail release of the standalone game, Microsoft will also be releasing a special edition Star Wars Kinect Xbox 360 bundle which includes the game, 320GB Xbox 360 slim designed to resemble R2D2, white Kinect camera, and a golden C-3PO themed controller.
The system bundle will also include an special unlockable version of C-3PO for the game’s Dance Mode. That is right Star Wars fans: it includes a dancing game! The dance mode is just 1 of the 5 gameplay modes featured in the game. Other modes featured in the title are Podracing, Jedi Destiny, Rancor Rampage, and Duels of Fate.
Just think, in a few short months we will all be able to unlock the Star Wars Kid inside of us...
