The newest trailer for The Testament of Sherlock Holmes from Focus Home Interactive and Frogwares features a darker side of the Sherlock Holmes story by turning the tables on the famed detective. Instead of being an honored detective of Scotland Yard, Holmes is now at the center of a case in which he is being charged for committing murder, theft, fraud, and double-crossings. Even more surprising is Watson's loss of faith in his dear friend because of the case and other unspeakable acts. The game will offer players a great deal of freedom in how to proceed with investigations, questioning, clues, and following or not following leads.
The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is being designed with consoles in mind by using a third person camera and tailored gamepad controls. Also, the game engine is being designed to display high resolution textures and offer more complexity in the game's various environments.
The Testament of Sherlock Holmes will be available in 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
