Naruto gets a release date and plenty of new screens and images

Namco Bandai have announced that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations (whew, that's a mouthful) will be launching on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 13th, 2012. According to Namco Bandai, the latest game in the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise "will revolutionize online play and ramp up the number of playable and support characters beyond any previous Naruto Shippuden title." The game is based on the popular animated NARUTO SHIPPUDEN series from VIZ Media (from the manga created by Masashi Kishimoto), and will offer a vast selection of playable & support characters spanning every generation of the NARUTO saga.
Developed by CyberConnect2, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations is the latest title in the smash hit NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise. The title will revolutionize online play and ramp up the number of playable and support characters beyond any previous NARUTO SHIPPUDEN game. Players will compete in a huge variety of online battle modes with their favorite characters including Naruto, Sasuke, Zabuza and Haku – two ninja characters fans have been waiting to see more of since the launch of the original manga – and many more new ninja appearing in the game.
