PowerSkin® Debuts Gaming Skin for Nintendo 3DS, Featuring Protective Shell & Integrated Batteries for Extended Gaming
Game on. Game longer. PowerSkin’s® got you – and your Nintendo 3DS – covered.
Costa Mesa, CA – December 8, 2011 – PowerSkin® is expanding its line-up of shock-absorbing, battery-boosting smartphone cases to now include portable charging solutions for gaming devices, kicking off with the Gaming Skin for Nintendo 3DS.
The Gaming Skin for Nintendo 3DS (GP2000) is a protective case that provides twice the power via its built-in 2000 mAh battery. Serving as a permanent secondary power source that doubles as a durable cover for Nintendo 3DS, the Gaming Skin for 3DS extends 3D gaming time up to 12 hours and 2D gaming time up to 18 hours.
“The Gaming Skin for Nintendo 3DS is the first of many new introductions to come from PowerSkin® as we approach the new year and the Consumer Electronics Show in January,” said David Becker, Executive Vice President of XPAL Power / PowerSkin®. “With holiday season right around the corner, the Gaming Skin for Nintendo 3DS makes for a great stocking stuffer that will keep kids and adults entertained for hours.”
Both the Gaming Skin and Nintendo 3DS charge via Nintendo’s AC adapter. Patented XPAL Power battery technology automatically drains the Gaming Skin’s power first conserving energy on the Nintendo 3DS, however when plugged into the AC adapter, the Gaming Skin is charged last in case there is not time to fully charge both devices.
In order to check the power status level remaining, users can simply press the on/off button and LED lights will flash, with 1 LED representing 25% power level and 4 LEDS representing a 100% charge.
The Gaming Skin for Nintendo 3DS, $79.99, is available for pre-order now on www.Power-Skin.com for $10 off.
