All of Operation Rainfall's dedicated petitioniong has payed off, at least in part:
Xenoblade Chronicles is finally seeing a
release in the US. One of three RPGs that Nintendo bafflingly decided not to localize to America, Xenoblade Chronicles will be released exclusively at Gamestop April 2nd 2012, thanks to the work of the online movement Operation Rainfall and the help of thousands of fans. I'm reluctant to buy anything at Gamestop but I'll make an exception here; it's pretty amazing that Nintendo reversed its decision thanks largely to the persistent pestering of fans. Now hopefully the other two games, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower, end up in the States too.
