TEKKEN Hybrid™ has gone gold for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.
TEKKEN Hybrid bookends a decade of knockdown and drag-out TEKKEN action with TEKKEN Tag Tournament™ HD, TEKKEN Tag Tournament™ 2 Prologue, and the TEKKEN: Blood Vengeance™ 3D CG movie, all available on one blu-ray disc.
TEKKEN Hybrid will be available at retail through North America on November 22, 2011.
TEKKEN Tag Tournament HD gives players a high definition version of the beloved PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system title TEKKEN Tag Tournament. Originally released as a PlayStation 2 system launch title in North America, TEKKEN Tag Tournament revolutionized the TEKKEN gameplay engine. Players pick two of their favorite TEKKEN characters and compete in action-packed two-on-two fights. Players can tag their characters in and out of the match at will to create devastating matchups. Create your favorite team and dominate the opposition. Also included in TEKKEN Tag Tournament HD is the fan-favorite TEKKEN Bowl mini-game. Choose your favorite characters, each with their own spin and power ratings, and spend 10 frames on the Mishima Lanes. TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2 Prologue gives western fans a chance to try the current Japanese arcade smash hit, TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2. TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2 Prologue features four playable characters with exclusive outfits taken from TEKKEN: Blood Vengeance 3D.
TEKKEN: Blood Vengeance 3D brings together a wealth of prominent Japanese anime talent to create a TEKKEN experience like no other. The film is directed by Youchi Mori with screenplay by Dai Sato, music composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto and CG animation production by Digital Frontier, and follows Ling Xiaoyu as she is hired by the G Corporation to come into contact with a high school student named Shin Kamiya. Xiaoyu’s mission is complicated when a mysterious girl named Alisa Bosconovitch, an agent from a rival company, shows up to halt her progress. What seemed like a simple request spins out of control as Shin’s past is revealed to be connected to the violent history of the Mishima Zaibatsu. TEKKEN: Blood Vengeance 3D is filled with high impact action that the TEKKEN series is universally known for, with gorgeously rendered and choreographed fighting scenes that will leave action movie fans breathless. TEKKEN: Blood Vengeance 3D is presented in a high-definition widescreen format and compatible with 3D televisions.
TEKKEN Hybrid will also be available in a special limited edition package that includes a 2-CD soundtrack with music from TEKKEN Tag Tournament and TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2, a hardcover art book, and voucher code for exclusive PlayStation®Home items.
