No game in recent memory has created such comments section chaos as our own Dan Keener's review of
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
Despite the vitriolic hate, however, Gaming Nexus will continue to soldier on in their coverage of the game.
This morning, it was announced that three new characters have landed at retailers everywhere.
Hex adds another female to the lineup. Her elemental class is undead and her Wall of Bones upgrade offers damage protection, while her ranged attacks dish out the damage.
Dino-rang, from the earth elemental class, fights with boomerangs that start out as stone but can be upgraded to volcanic glass, while Obsidian Armor keeps him safe from harm. Finally,
Wrecking Ball, from the magic elemental class, uses Tongue Whap to take out enemies quickly while Power Belch offers players the ultimate burp attack.
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure is out now for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, and 3DS. You can read GN's "controversial" review of
