Kalypso Media has announced it will be publishing the recently unveiled Alien Spidy, which is a digital title in development by Enigma Software Productions. Alien Spidy is not only the name of the game, but also the main character who will be on a quest to save his fellow extraterrestrial friend who was captured upon landing on Earth. The gameplay is described as using controlled physics to solve various platform challenges over 20 levels. The game will feature co-op and competitive multiplayer modes with support for up to four extraterrestrials. Players will also be able to create their own levels with an included map editor that allows for sharing levels with others in the community.
Alien Spidy will be available in 2012 for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, PC, and Mac.
