Civilization World, Sid Meier's and Firaxis' foray into Facebook games, has recently been expanded with new features that include city skins, combat mini-game, customized play styles, and further ways in which to earn CivBucks. A couple of the added features tie in with Halloween including spooky decorations for the throne room and even a samurai city skin. The new features are detailed below:
City Skins – Create a personalized city with a Halloween-themed palace or turn it into a Viking village. The full skins not only spice-up all of the citizens and buildings, but also provide gameplay bonuses, including boosts to all military units if the entire city skin is set in place.
Combat Mini-Game – Play the brand new, dynamic mini-game that offers a boost to all military units fighting in battle.
Master the Game with Customized Play Styles – Once players earn 250 fame points in Civilization World, they will unlock the option to create four different customized games for 50 CivBucks each. The different game settings include the game speed, CivBucks usage, fame point minimum or maximum to join the game, and the number of players in the game.
Be a Winner – The overall winner and ruler of the world will receive 25 CivBucks at the end of the game. Individual winners of the 20 different contests during the game will also earn one CivBuck. In addition, players can become the best that they can be by completing all of the in-game achievements, including nine new ones.
Civilization World is available on Facebook, which requires an account and browser with flash support for play.
