Need more things to hunt in
Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012? Well, you're in luck! Activision has announced three new shooting galleries are available as DLC: Alaskan Rocks, Texas Woods, and Chile Plateau. The three galleries allow players to shoot their way through the level while earning points to clear checkpoints. Multiplayer is also supported with 2 player co-op, 2 player versus, or 3 and 4 player hot-seat.
All three galleries are free on PSN, while only Alaskan Rocks is free on Xbox Live Arcade. The other two are 160 MS Points apiece.
Activision is excited to present downloadable content for Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Three different shooting galleries are available as DLC: “Alaskan Rocks”, “Texas Woods” and “Chile Plateau”. In these arcade shooting gallery challenges, players will shoot their way through the level earning points to clear checkpoints as they go. Multiplayer is also supported where you can challenge your friends in 2 player co-op, 2 player versus, or 3 and 4 player hot-seat variations.
In Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012, players take on the role of an experienced hunter as they travel across the globe and take part in the journey of a lifetime to hunt record-sized trophy game. With new gameplay mechanics that make every hunt a challenge, players must use their wits and precision to bag the ultimate prize. The game is available alone or bundled with the innovative Top Shot Elite peripheral.
You’ll also have the chance to play the game in Activision’s ‘Adventure Starts Here’ Mobile Tour. The Adventure Starts Here Tour gives gamers and outdoor enthusiasts the chance to preview Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai and Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012 as it makes its way to Cabela’s and Walmart’s around the country. Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012 is out now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii. The Alaskan Rocks DLC is free on Xbox Live while Texas Woods and Chile Plateau are 160 Microsoft Points each. All three pieces of DLC are free on PlayStation Network. The game is rated T for Teen by the ESRB.
