Showing gameplay from the single-player portion, this new trailer does its best to show the drama and intensity of Battlefield 3's single player campaign - and I have to say it succeeds. The mix of on-foot and vehicle action really seems to push the envelope of how realistic these kinds of games can be. The best part of the trailer comes at the end, however. The words "above and beyond the call" are shown over the last handful of frames, and if that isn't a reference to Call of Duty, then I'm a monkey's uncle. Your move, Activision. Battlefield 3 comes out on October 25.
