EA has announced that the
beta for
Battlefield 3 will be available on September 29th for all three platforms and will include the map Metro which they showed off at E3 this year. It's a nice little map that allows teams to battle it out in Paris both above ground in some parks and below ground in a bombed out subway tunnel.
The beta will include the Rush mode where one team defends a set of MCOM stations from the other team. Personally I'm pretty stoked and I think I'll be skipping soccer that night to sit at home and play the game until the wee hours of the morning.
