Treasure’s HD update to the Sega Saturn classic Guardian Heroes will finally see release on October 12, 2011. Guardian Heroes HD will be available that day on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft points.
For those of you who don’t know, Guardian Heroes is a hybrid beat’em up / RPG similar to the classic Konami arcade games such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and X-Men. Players battle their way through various stages, pummeling anyone and everyone in their way, while earning experience and enhancing their characters. The new version of the game will feature enhanced HD graphics and online play for up to 12 players.
