Not a surprise as there are many games that run less than the 720P resolution but Johan Andersson of DICE
tweeted today confirming
Battlefield 3's resolution on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Both consoles will run at 1280x704 with the lines removed for performance and memory considerations. The
Call of Duty games,
Resistance 2,
Halo 3, are just some games that don't run at full 720P and I think most folks won't even notice.
As for me, well I'm going to be on the PC playing at 1920x1080 and possibly in 3D myself.
