Dungeon Defenders announces release date.

D3 Publishing has given a release date for its upcoming title Dungeon Defenders, officially putting October 19, 2011, as the final release date for their title.  It will be available for XBL Arcade, PSN, and PC download.  This game is going to be an interesting twist on the tower defense games by adding in an action-RPG twist to it, obviously adding depth to a style of game that has been made popular on smartphones for on-the-go gaming.  It will be interesting to see how it does, as while it is a great idea to add a twist such as this, sometimes these games are best meant for handheld games.  Then again, Plants vs. Zombies did just fine and no one expected that when it launched either.
