I am glad I stocked up on Microsoft Points after last week’s announcement from Harmonix of Poison hitting
Rock Band DLC. Next week, we get a bunch of singles, but they are all highly recognizable and should be a blast to play. Two of them come from System of a Down, who provide us with a little “Aerials” and “Hypnotize” to go along with many of their tracks already available. We also get the classic “For What It’s Worth” from Buffalo Springfield and “Turning Japanese” from The Vapors. However, the biggest catch is probably R.E.M.s “Man on the Moon”. Pricing is the standard $1.99 USD/160 MS Pts/200 Wii Pts per song with $0.99/80 MS Pts/100 Wii Pts for Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade. As previously mentioned, your July 5th Rock Band DLC:
Buffalo Springfield – “For What It’s Worth”X
R.E.M. – “Man On the Moon”
System of a Down – “Aerials”X
System of a Down – “Hypnotize”
The Vapors – “Turning Japanese”X
Tracks marked with “X” will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.

A classic cut, “For What It’s Worth”, from Buffalo Springfield, rounds out the offerings for July 5th!
As always, songs available as downloadable content for Rock Band 3 feature five-button guitar and bass parts, drums, Pro Drums, and keys, Pro Keys and harmonies, where applicable. Some songs also feature Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades available for an additional $0.99 upgrade download.
