A whopping 1,690,000 viewers tuned in over the course of the championship weekend, with the final match drawing 215,000 eyeballs to see FnaticMSI clinch the strangest "sports" championship in all of recent human history over Against All Authority.

LOS ANGELES – June 14, 2011 – Riot Games today announced the conclusion of the League of Legends Season One Championship, the $100,000 tournament to determine the best team in the world. After three consecutive days of intense League of Legends competition at the world’s largest computer festival, Dreamhack, FnaticMSI clinched the title of ‘World Champions’ over Against All Authority in a nail-biting championship match. Over the course of the weekend, over 1,690,000 viewers tuned into the live tournament coverage, with 215,000 eyeballs glued to the championship match.
