Nintendo has announced that a new installment in the Mario Kart series is headed to the Nintendo 3DS this year. Mario Kart 3DS will be released this holiday and bring a bunch of new features to the 3DS including kart modding, underwater tracks, and the ability to modify your kart in a variety of ways.
