Power A enhances the audio experience of the 3DS
While the 3DS already has some impressive little speakers crammed into its shell, I've learned over the years that any handheld can be made better with 3rd party accessories. Nyko has already jumped in with their desperately needed battery pack, and now Power A, the folks behind those adorable little Wii Remotes, are giving the 3DS an audio boost.
Their Stereo and Chat Headset does what it the name implies--it offers full stereo sound and also happens to the the 3DS's first voice chat headset. This is probably a lot more comfortable (and less embarrassing) than shouting at the 3DS tiny microphone. While the original DS had a couple 3rd party chat headsets there weren't many games that used the functionality. Hopefully the 3DS gets a few more multiplayer chat-oriented titles than its predecessor.
Power A is also releasing a set of earbuds with the same abilities as the headset, in case you'd like to cut down on the bulk when traveling with your 3DS.
