Activision has unleashed a video explaining their next money maker,
Call of Duty Elite. Think of it as a mega social service with benefits for Call of Duty addicts. Now, there are some features that are free and some that are for those that are for paid members but the video doesn't say which are which.
Stat tracking, video sharing, contests for real prizes, maps, etc. You can access the information from the web as well. There seems to be a ton of information and things you'll be presented with and if you love Call of Duty, this might be for you.
I'm a big multiplayer guy, but I don't need something else I have to pay for to get full enjoyment out of. Yes, some Elite features will be free, but I'm curious as to what being a paid member entitles you to.

Call of Duty: Black Ops and continue on with future COD titles. I can't get mad a video though for using The Touch and the song from Lost that Desmond plays while in the hatch.
