Welcome to a new week my friends... and with a new week comes new games! This week should be a big one in the house that GTA built as Rockstar releases its ambitious LA Noire into retail. I think that it will be interesting to see if they can continue their streak of good luck and create a third blockbuster franchise in addition to GTA and Red Dead Redemption. PC players will also have a decent week ahead of them as both Fable III and the Witcher 2 make their way out of development and into the market.
Fighting fans can get their fix on Nintendo’s 3DS this week with the launch of Dead or Alive: Dimensions. Is the fighting genre going to be the niche-market for the 3DS? SSF4 has done well, DOA has its sights aimed high, and BlazBlue is coming this summer... looks like it. Hopefully Sony will get the PlayStation Store back online this week as well to accommodate the launch DLC for LA Noire as well as the numerous other PSN titles that are sitting the queue. I am not going to list them though because it isn’t guaranteed that we will see them this week.
