The trailer DICE showed off earlier this year really got me interested in Battlefield 3; it looks like everything the Medal of Honor reboot should have been. I played around with Bad Company 2 a bit and liked it a lot more than the recent Call of Duty titles, so I hope Battlefield 3 steals the crown from the CoD series. CoD has been on top just a little to long and is starting to get bland--if DICE shakes things up, Bobby Kotick and his minions might be forced to innovate to keep up.
Today, DICE released the first images for Battlefield 3™: Back to Karkand, the a massive pre-order incentive for Battlefield 3™, that is available for free to players who pre-order the Limited Edition of the game. A new blog post over at www.battlefield.com is the first in a series called ‘Going back to Karkand’ featuring an interview with Lead Designer Niklas Fegraeus.
