Sony and Sega are teaming up to bring Virtua Tennis fans a little something extra when Virtua Tennis 4 launches this May. The PlayStation 3 version of the game is going to include a couple of pices of exclusive content that won’t be available on any of the other platforms.
First off, the PS3 version will be home to a couple of exclusive tennis legends including Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, and Pat Rafter. All three characters will be immediately available to PS3 users the first time that they boot up the game. In addition to the exclusive characters, there will also be two mini-games included in the PS3 version not found elsewhere.
Pin Crusher and Net Blitz will test players abilities on the court with both the standard DualShock controller and PlayStation Move. Pin Crusher is the classic bowling game featured on previous Virtua Tennis titles and can only be played using the standard controller. Net Crusher on the other hand is designed exclusively for the PlayStation Move. Sony fans are also getting a special mini-game for PlayStation Home entitled Home Square which will launch on May 22, 2011.
The first screenshots and images for the exclusive can be found below along with some videos showing off the two mini-games.
