Nexon’s incredible (in my humble opinion)
Dungeon Fighter Online is headed to Xbox Live Arcade. The game, which is free to play on the PC, will be offered as a standard paid game on Microsoft’s digital service. Nexon is working with Softmax and Neople to bring the port home worldwide. Microsoft will handle the publishing of the title.
I have always been a fan of Nexon’s Dungeon Fighter Online since I fist discovered it early last year. The game brings the style of classic, 16-bit beat’em ups to the MMORPG world. The game is truly a treat for old school fans and I just found it to be a brilliant concept. Granted, I can imagine that the style may not be for everyone, but I fell in love from the start. It will be interesting to see how the game transitions from the free-to-play model to a premium game on XBLA.
Aside from the announcement of the project, few other details were given for the game but I will eagerly be awaiting more information as E3 approaches...
