Sony has announced that it will be releasing DC Universe Online in digital form on the PlayStation Network soon... very soon. While the exact date was not revealed, the existance of the digital version on a recent post on the Official PlayStation Blog.
The digital version of the game will cost the same as the retail release, which sells for $59.99. Following the purchase and a lengthy download / install, players can access the hit MMO without having to throw a disc in the system. The subscription options associated with the digital version are the same as well.
