Thanks to Nintendo’s upcoming 3D handheld, it seems as if every major, multi-platform franchise is making the jump to 3-dimensions. Ubisoft has recently released a new trailer highlighting the 3DS installment of the Splinter Cell series aptly named Splinter Cell 3D.
There isn’t any gameplay shown in the trailer below, but other shots of the game that I have seen shows a strong resemblance to the recent Xbox 360 release Splinter Cell Conviction. The game will definitely see a boost in the improved graphical capabilities of Nintendo’s new system. Granted, it isn’t as impressive as the HD version(s) of the series, but it looks a lot better than I ever expected for a Nintendo handheld.
