If you're still having trouble finding Sony's official PlayStation Move motion controllers and navigation controllers, there's another option coming to retailers soon.

Sunflex USA will be releasing its snakebyte Move line of motion and navigation controllers in April for a yet-to-be-announced price point. Sunflex is promising an ergonomic design for the snakebyte controllers, with unique characteristics such as built-in USB ports along with special gray and black handles. The USB ports are said to make for quick firmware updates.

Sunflex also announced that there will be additional colors for the snakebyte Move controllers soon after the initial April launch, plus a RE-VOLT charger will be available in April for rapid recharging of up to five PlayStation Move controllers. This could certainly come in handy as these controllers currently do not come with charging cables included.

It's not known as of press time whether these accessories will be licensed by Sony. For now, check out the full press release after the jump. We'll bring you more information on these new accessories soon.
Glendale, CA – March 1, 2011 – Sunflex USA, the exclusive U.S. distributor of the video gaming brand snakebyte™ and FINAL FANTASY® XIV controller, confirmed today that the snakebyte Move line will be available in April. Initially announced and shown at the 2011 International CES, the newly named MOV-CON and NAV-CON are expected to be the first third-party controllers in North America for PlayStation®Move.

Both controllers are ergonomically designed and feature reinvented gray/black handles, differentiating them from the first-party controller and assuring comfortable grip. In order to easily keep up with future firmware versions, both the MOV-CON and NAV-CON also have built-in USB ports so they can be quickly updated.

At the end of Q2 2011, shortly after the April release of the MOV-CON and NAV-CON, snakebyte plans to offer the controllers in colorful options including red, white and blue. Additionally, there will be a special “snakebyte-edition” adorning the company’s signature colors.

Also introduced at CES and available for delivery in April is the RE-VOLT Move Charger, which provides a quick, convenient and simultaneous charge for up to five PlayStation Move controllers.

“It’s been a long, hard road to bring the snakebyte Move line to market,” said Howard Borenstein, President of Sunflex USA. “The redesigned handle grip and various color options for the MOV-CON and NAV-CON will both differentiate our product and provide the consumer with the opportunity to have more control, personalization and enjoyment in game play.”
