Watch world-class RTS players get to grips with Relic’s new game
AGOURA HILLS, Calif. Feb 25, 2011 – THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced that it has partnered with Justin.tv to host several live gameplay sessions of upcoming real time strategy game, Warhammer® 40,000®: Dawn of War® II - Retribution™ featuring some of the world’s top RTS players.
Broadcasters so far have included heavyweights such as Husky (http://www.youtube.com/huskystarcraft#p/u/2/3El2Fp0278s) and Rootgaming, the broadcasts of which can be seen on www.Justin.tv.com. The grand finale of these broadcasts will be a four hour long extravaganza hosted by the SCReddit team and will take place on Sunday 27th February at 2pm EST on www.Justin.tv/wellplayed. The live webcast will start with an in-depth look at the singleplayer campaign as well as the new Last Stand map. Following this, world-class players including Harlequin, will take part in a King of the Hill style game before the best the community has to offer will go toe-to-toe with Relic’s own balance testers. To finish there will be a Q&A interview session with the developers at Relic. With new and exclusive content shown for the first time, this is an event RTS fans will not want to miss.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Retribution is scheduled to be available on March 1 at stores across the country as well as select digital retailers for Windows PC.
