Something that gamers take for granted is that games in a yearly series will see improvements year-after-year. Sometimes it is noticeable, sometimes it is not. However, 2K Sports has put out some excellent images showing off just how much better the player modeling has gotten from MLB 2K10 to
MLB 2K11. There are seven player side-by-sides and one side-by-side of the cola bottle and glove from AT&T Park in San Francisco. Other improvements to look for besides the player modeling are lighting, uniform and realism updates. Being a Tigers fan, the Justin Verlander likeness and uniform update is really good, and the update of San Francisco Giant pitcher Brian Wilson from what looks like a strung out meth-head to just being his
usual odd self is striking.
