Rovio has confirmed that
Angry Birds is headed to Nintendo’s new handheld by the end of this year. The confirmation came in the form of Tweets from the studio.
Following the confirmation of a 3DS version of the game, Rovio also revealed details on other plans involving Nintendo. In addition to receiving an exclusive 3DS release, the three previous versions of Angry Birds will see digital distribution releases on the handheld by the end of the year as well. The Wii version that was announced last year remains in development and is also on track for a release by the end of the year.
