2011 keeps on rolling with another high profile release this week (Dead Space 2). In addition to Isaac Clarke’s latest adventure, and the other retail releases, some big demos will be hitting the Xboox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network. I don’t want to make it a habit of promoting demo releases, but these are too big to pass up.
Check out some of the titles releasing this week:

-
Bulletstorm (Demo) for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3- Oh yeah! Finally, those of us who haven’t been able to attend the major gaming conventions over the past year will finally get their hands on People Can Fly’s insane shooter. Te demo version of the game will be available this week and give players a chance to unlock items in the retail version coming next month.
-
Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo for Xbox 360- Sorry PS3 players, Crytek’s multiplayer demo for the upcoming Crysis 2 is exclusive to the Xbox 360 and for Xbox Live Gold members. The demo version features one map (Skyline) and two modes of play.
-
Dead Space 2 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC- Isaac Clarke is back and ready to dismember some more Necromorphs! This time around, EA has packed in some multiplayer options in order spice the package up a bit.
-
Dead Space Extraction for PlayStation Network- In addition to shipping on the Limited Edition version of Dead Space 2, the HD port of the former Wii-exclusive will also be hitting the PlayStation Network this week as well. For those who are a little weary of the game, a demo version will be released as well. Hope that you have your PlayStation Move ready...
-
Lord of Arcana for PlayStation Portable- Square Enix brings a new blend of multiplayer and RPG action to Sony’s portable.
-
Two Worlds II for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3- The sequel to what many called the worst game of 2007 looks to make up for its errors of the past with Two Worlds II. The early reviews of the European version of the game, which launched this past November, were surprisingly positive, especially compared to the original. Will you give the series a second chance? If you are interested in the game, make sure that you check out Ben’s interview with Southpeak Games’ Aubrey Norris... good stuff.
