…and it is coming out for Nintendo’s soon to be released 3DS… right? I wasn’t sure after watching the latest trailer for the game, which you can find below. For a handheld title, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D looks remarkably good graphically; I would even say it looks on par with Resident Evil 4, in all of its iterations. Capcom seems to be able to work some visual wonders with the MT Framework…
The portable zombie-shooter takes the various Mercenary missions from both Resident Evil 4 and 5 and puts them into a single package for you to experience on the go. In addition to competing with your friends for the best scores, the game will also allow players to join up with friends from around the world online in cooperative play. Sounds good to me!
Unfortunately, the game is going to miss the Nintendo 3DS system launch at the end of March, but Capcom plans on having the game out this summer. Check it out the trailer plus some new screenshots below:
