The
PlayStation blog has announced that
Killzone 3 has gone gold and it is being pressed as we speak. February 22 is the date everyone in the US can get their hands on the game.
Following in the footsteps of
Halo 3, there's going to be a Helghast edition of the game that gives you a replica of the Halghast Helmet as well as a figure among other goodies. Can't tell how big the helmet is or whether you can put it on a cat for entertainment purposes.
As what seems to be the norm these days, if you pre-order the game, there will be different pre-order bonuses depending on where you order from. The bonuses seem more geared towards multiplayer though and two of them only last for 24 hours. I'll let you decide on which one's right for you.
