Resident Evil’s Jill Valentine was announced as being one of the first characters that will be added to Capcom’s
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 via downloadable content, but that announcement came with practically no information regarding the character herself. Capcom has released some new artwork showing that this isn’t the Jill from MvC2 and according to Seth Killian, she will practically be a new character.
According to a statement that Seth made to the Capcom Unity Blog:
"MvC3 Jill is a completely new character (and definitely more along your "acrobatic gun user" track). She's more different and completely re-imagined than any other returning cast-member. She just might be the fastest character in the game, too..."
It is extremely nice to see an returning face with a drastically new design which will make her feel like a whole new character all together. As announced previously, Jill and Shuma Gorath will be released as a part of the first DLC pack for the game and be available roughly 4 weeks after the launch of the game.
Have I mentioned how excited I am for this game yet?
