I didn't realize there was a big market for E3 badges. I've had a few folks ask for my badge on the third day with some offers to buy, but I didn't know that it went for as high as $700 on Craigslist.
In any case, the
ESA is trying to clamp down on badge scalping and fake badges by only giving the media a bar code before the event. You have to take the bar code to be scanned at Petree Hall, where you'll get your badge, holder and entrance to E3.
I just think they should let the public in after a few days of media only attendance, like most other shows but that's just me. We'll be there again this year as Chuck just booked our hotel. I've lost count as to how many I've been to though.
